Before installing the roof tiles, the ledge strip needs to be attached with a 4" overlap by length. It must be attached using galvanized nails or screws on 12" centers. The upper edge of the ledge strip must reach the strapping and its horizontal flange must extend over the top of the bottom plank. The lower edge of the strip rests inside the rail gutter.
